Name: H'uli (Hamuli) (pronounced hyoo-lee)
Age: 15
Sex: Male
Parents: Kalimna
& Niall
Siblings: Pollard, Gillyan
Birthplace: Soul
Star Hold
Craft: Scribe
Rank: Jr. Apprentice, Dragonrider
Physical
Description:
Hamuli was a slight, small young man but has filled out considerably
of late. However, he is still shorter than most of his companions, standing
at about 5'10", with nondescript mid-brown hair and brown eyes. A light spattering
of freckles across his cheeks is the only imperfection to his almost creamy
skin.
Emotional
Description:
Uli has always been a reserved youth, never really going in for all
the macho showing off to girls that his companions tried to force upon him.
When with people he cares for, the dry wit which was passed on to him by his
father shows itself, and he is very easy to like.
Life
History:
Hamuli was born as a third and youngest child to Minor Holders Niall
and Kalimna. His elder brother, Pollard, immediately took him under his wing
and the two became best of friends as well as brothers as they grew up together.
It was Uli's sister, Gillyan, who he worshipped as a deity, however. He always
envied her grace, quiet beauty and seeming unending wisdom - whether it be a
scraped knee or a philosophical question.
Uli grew up slowly, reaching adolescence later than most of his companions, and by the time he was fifteen, he still hadn't grown into his age. Destined to be short, he thought of himself to be cursed with rather effeminate looks and likes, to be confirmed when he was apprenticed to the local Master Scribe. He loved writing poetry, and until his voice broke had a sweet voice. Hamuli avoided fights at all costs growing up. What, really, was the point in fighting to show off when he could be quietly writing something, or talking with his sister?
When Hamuli reached his eighteenth turn, his life took a decidedly sharp twist. He was Searched for Ryslen Weyr, and required to move away from his home and his family, and start anew. He couldn't have made a better choice.
