Physical Description:
Ariala has a slight build, which is amazingly strong due to her craft. She stands at just short of 5'3", and has warm black hair (as opposed to blue-black), soft grey eyes and pale olive skin. Her hands, once delicate, are all callous and bitten nails, and her arms and abs are taut from working at the smithy.

Emotional Description:
Ari has a cheerful disposition, her goal in life being to make friends. She gets on well with both sexes, all ages and ranks. Whenever possible, she tends to take charge of the situation - although not on purpose - and most times does it well. She's not exactly _mischievous_ but she does like breaking the rules... or at least stretching them a little.

Life History:
Born in Lizard Ridge Hold to a single mother (and a father she doesn't know), Ariala grew up in a tiny house in the outskirts. She has two younger half-sisters who still live at home with her mother and step-father, and who she loves dearly. She's always been family-oriented and visits as often as she can manage. She was apprenticed at the Smith Hall when she was fourteen and although she started off slowly, as her knowledge and skill grew, she became quite proficient, walking the tables to junior journeywoman at age twenty. She fell in love for the first time at sixteen, and out again when she caught him with her best friend, causing her trust in men to plummet, but other than that, has had a remarkably normal life. She was pregnant to the aforementioned boyfriend, but miscarried - the only real drama in her life.

Tal has paler, greyish-brown fur, and she's generally the leader. Char, however, is a much darker brown - hence his name. Although they've retained the puppy-playfulness, they've both been well-trained and love their mistress, doing anything she says because they love to please her.
